Ever watch Wow Wow Wubzy or Maggie and the Ferocious Beast?? My new faves are Lavender Lollipops and Great Googly Moogly. Of course, they sometimes come out sounding like "God Dammit." Strangest thing ever.

They sure are sponges, especially at this age. I have tried to become creative while trying to behaviourally try to change my word usage. Example: shitake mushroom, hoover dam, and my favourite when the J.C. tries to slip from my lips....Jesus loves me!!!!

Ross, congratulations. This is the first time a reader comment has made me laugh out loud. It was a messy business because I'd been drinking milk at the time.

A friend was recently telling about when his two young kids went back to Scotland to visit their grandparents. Grandma took the two young fellas off to see the architecturally significant Chapel at Oxford. One of the grandkids, in the hushed silence of the place, in the midst of fellow, hushed tourists, announced: Christ Gran - look at the size of that fucking roof!

Grandma was not impressed by the language the kids were picking up in the uncivilised Antipodes!
