I promise the How I Got My Agent story will be coming to a Blog Post Near You in the very near future and totally After I’ve Met That Deadline For My Next Owning Pink Column In Case My Editor is Reading This, but for now I’d like to share another sweet feather in my writing cap.
I’m excited to announce that I’m a new contributor for the incredibly informative 30 Second Mom site. Brainchild of Elisa All, 30 Second Mom provides bite-sized tips on everything from technology to health to relationships to money for busy moms everywhere and happens to be pretty snazzy with a fantastical roster of writers.
Since I can’t balance a checkbook to save my life and prefer to make (and keep) most of my friends online, I won’t even try to give y’all money or relationship advice. But I’ve got plenty to say on parenting, motherhood, and eating disorders/mental health. I’ll try to balance out the funny with the serious, and promise to avoid telling you to try the impossible, like the famous, “Sleep when the baby’s sleeping.” Unless you want to laugh. Then I can totally go there.
Bonus? 30 Second Mom has a new app available for download in the iTunes store and I’M ON IT! It’s a new level of famous, y’all. My ‘fro has it’s own little spot in an actual app.
I don’t even have the words to explain how incredibly awesome that is.
